Cashana's Home!

Cashana is home!!! We have all been so excited about Cashana coming home for the summer from the University of Chicago. She just finished her first year there. She looks great and she was very happy to be home. I can't believe she has already been there a year. It seems like just yesterday she was graduating from HS and planning her last summer before college. It has only been a year but she looks so grownup now.

Mom and I, Ellie and Maggie, Kathleen and Sarah, and Cashana's best friends from HS Darin and Chelsea all met Cashana as she got off the plane. She had never met Ellie and it took all of five minutes for Ellie to fall in love with her. Ellie absolutely adores Cashana. She cannot get enough of her. Cashana showed her how to play some video games on the TV, which she was very good at and then showed her how to play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). I think I have mentioned how Ellie loves to dance and I knew if she could figure this game out she would be hooked. Cashana set in on a slower song (well the slowest one they had) and tried to explain to her how it worked. It didn't really seem to be making any sense to her until she finally sat right down in the middle square and tapped the arrows with her hands to the music. After a while she stood up and tried it with her feet. She had it figured out! I guess I am going to be buying one of those games for Ellie for when Cashana goes back to school...
